Who is Yukon?

While on staff at EastWest Studios, Adam Harr was asked to stay after hours to record vocals for a special guest—Marlon Wayans, who was coming in to record a spoof of the recently released “Drunk in Love” by Jay-Z and Beyoncé. The session naturally drew a crowd, and during the recording, Wayans remarked to the room that Adam, the engineer, bore a striking resemblance to Yukon Cornelius.

The entire studio erupted in laughter, but Adam wasn’t familiar with the character. Having been compared to other bearded celebrities like Seth Rogen and Zach Galifianakis, he quickly searched for Yukon Cornelius online and soon found himself laughing along with everyone else.

Marlon captured the moment with a photo for Instagram, and although the initial session wrapped up that night, the project continued for another month. From that point on, the nickname "Yukon" became a lasting part of Adam’s identity.
